In 1997, I received a B. S. in Recreation Tourism Management from Arizona State University and in 1999, I received a Masters in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
I have been planning special events for over twenty seven years. I worked for Arizona State University for ten years and was able to get the experience in planning/organizing special events while attending school.
I also had the opportunity to work with the city of Victorville Recreation Department in California, as a Recreation Supervisor. Most of my responsibilities were in planning and orgainizing all city events.
I am very active with the community volunteering for special events such as: Make a Difference, Super Bowl XXX, Thunderbird Balloon Classic and Boys Scouts. Since I moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, I am involved in the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce serving on several committees, which plans events citywide.
I have been also involved with professional affiliations such as a member of the Arizona Festivals and Events Association, member of the International Festival and Events Associations, founding member and first elected President of Arizona State University West Campus Career Women, member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, and a member of the National Association for Campus Activities.
My goal is to provide quality and reliable customer service as well as outstanding coordinating for your wedding and/or special event. |
